This is to inform you that on March 15, the "30-Day Automatic File Deletion"rule for the Managed File Transfer (MFT) folders in Box went into effect. This rule enforces the 30-day upload time limit for files that are uploaded to an MFT folder.
Files that are uploaded to an MFT folder will have a 30-day count down timer. After 30-days, the files will automatically be deleted. For files that are currently in an MFT folder that exceed the 30-day time limit, a 30-day grace period will be honored. This grace period will end on April 14.
If you are currently using files in an MFT folder that might be at risk or if you are working on files that you will need for more than 30-days, then you will need to move those files to a Restricted File Share (RFS) folder.
To request an RFS folder, go to the Box Information Center and fill out another New Box Share Request form.
